Saturday again ...... have a great weekend peeps

Morning readers,

Well, it's the weekend once more - got plans? Actually, it's kind of nice to be able to make plans again, isn't it? AND, as an added bonus, we have glorious weather here and I hope you have too - have a great weekend

I've a make to share with you today .......

My C6 card
The front/back/inside of my C6 card and the front/back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Card in white and light blue, cut to fit and mat
  • Honeydoo splatter (from "paint splodges") stamped using Versafine Clair cheerful ink
  • Carabelle image (SA70068) and Clearly Besotted sentiment ("brushed sentiments") stamped using Versafine Clair paradise ink .... it dried a little brighter than I hoped but ... currently the closest I have to pale blue!

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 455 - CAS and COLOUR CHALLENGE
  2. Ellibelle's Crafty Corner - June challenge - CAS (Clean And Simple)
  3. Little Red Wagon - challenge No. 605 - CAS
  4. Polkadoodles - challenge No. 24 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Alphabet Challenge - June 4th challenge - "E" is for EASY SIMPLE CARD

And now for another, IMHO elegant card .... ONE LAYER too!

My C6 card
The front/back/inside of my C6 card and the front/back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
  • Hampton Arts "woman in coat" image (DF2296) stamped using Versafine Clair charming pink ink
  • HLS sentiment (from "Doodled flowers") stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
  • Using a makeup brush and a Tim Holtz mini "roses" stencil (THMS 036) I applied Distress Oxide in kitsch flamingo around the stamped image, trying hard to avoid the stamped image
  • Stardust stickles - to "bling up" the image ... like she needed any blinging up!

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Penny's Paper Crafty - challenge No. 498 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Craft Rocket - challenge No. 82 - BIRTHDAY
  3. As You Like It - June 3rd challenge - CAS (Clean And Simple) or FULLY FANCY .... I went CAS as I think Less really IS more!

Two fabulous cards Kathy and love the blue and yellow and a wonderful mixture of stamps, and then the beautiful lady in pink, reminiscent of the 20s/30s, and the soft floral stencilling suits it perfectly, and certainly extremely elegant. x

Fabulous cards Kathy. I love the look of the blue and yellow card - splatter stamps are just so useful. As always I am impressed that you always create matching envelopes for your cards, it is such a good idea. Thanks for joining in with the challenge at Less is More.
