Morning readers,
Yesterday I posed the question as to whether any of my regular readers had plans for the weekend and said I had a "few things in the pipeline". Well, last evening hubs and I found ourselves out to dinner, with a friend we've been "bubbled with" during lockdown - she said she had some excellent deal vouchers for a local hostelry ... sadly, on checking, they'd expired! Plan B) was our "go to" Indian restaurant but it was another lovely evening, so nice to be able to just START to socialise again. Of course, a few beers and wines were shared so .... apologies for my late post - we slept in a bit this morning!
I've a make to share with you today ....... using a fave technique of mine (right now) background partial stencilling, love the effect and feel it makes the card more interesting whilst still remaining CAS (Clean And Simple)

Materials used:
- White, 250gsm, C6/A2 card and matching envelope
- Card in white and navy, cut to fit and mat
- Carabelle "bike" image )from SA60173 circa 2015) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne and morning mist inks
- TCP sentiment (S.5845.CL circa 2010) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
- Dutchdoobadoo stencil (470.715.609 circa 2018) laid over my image and, using a makeup brush and Memento inks in Bahama blue and Paris dusk, I applied ink around the image/sentiment to give texture and interest - trying to avoid stencilling over the image

Two brilliant birthday cards Kathy and they couldn't be more different with that super motorbike and then the fun and prettily coloured drunken chickens, and both with different but equally great stencilling in the background. Glad you met up with a friend for a meal and obviously had an good evening..we have all missed out on just enjoying other people's company with some nice food and wine. x
