Monday and we're already half way through MARCH!

Morning readers, 

I've a make to share with you today ....... I have been trying, since a week ago Saturday, to make a Clean And Simple card with the theme of "BABY", it's such a foreign concept to me that this was how my third card turned out ... yep, as an anniversary card!! I just don't make baby cards! And, it seems, I can't MAKE myself make them either! Still, I DO like this one and .... also, inspiration did eventually strike and I HAVE managed to submit a baby card over at LIM, so, it's all good!

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• White, 250gsm, 6"x6" card and matching envelope
• White, pink and pearlised gold card cut to size and mat
• Snippets of leftover card in white and pink for my sentiment panel
• Using makeup brushes I applied Distress Oxides ... first the kitsch flamingo through my Clearly Besotted heart stencil and then, with my heart stencil still in place, candied apple through the Stamposaurus mixed hearts
• Clearly Besotted sentiment (from mini calligraphy) stamped using Versafine Clair in charming pink - makes such a change not to use black/blue or grey ink!

My Artist Trading Card

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippets of card in pearlised blue and white
• Stampers Anonymous globe (HC001)/Inkadinkado (93615 "time travel") compass & sentiment images stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
• Rubber Stamps of America plane image stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
• Arteza water colour brush pens used to apply colour
• Using a makeup brush I applied a light covering of Memento Bahama Blue before adding my Aall & Create stencil #28 and adding further Bahama blue ink
