Monday and another week begins!

Morning readers,

I've a couple of makes to share with you today ....... if you visited my blog on Saturday then you will have seen a masculine make using a stencil from Dutchdoobadoo and a stamp set from Aall and Create ..... I really liked the combination so thought "whilst I've got the materials out ....." so, here are the two further makes using a "same but different" combo.
My Artist Trading Coin, with a black border

My Artist Trading Card with the grey border

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in white, black and grey
  • Nesting dies to cut my 2½ and 2¼" circles in black and white
  • Makeup brush used to apply Memento grey flannel lightly to both white panels
  • Dutchdoobadoo stencil (470.715.129) used, with the makeup brush, to apply Memento grey flannel and tuxedo black to my image panels
  • Aall & Create image and sentiment stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Paper Artsy splatter (from HPXT01) stamped using Memento Paris dusk ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

  2. Crafty Sentiments - Feb 15th challenge - ANYTHING GOES (COIN)

And now, here's a card for a CAS challenge ....

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White, 250gsm, 6" x 6" card and matching envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of turquoise card, cut to mat
  • Image and sentiment (bought from a retailer believing it to be SU ... but, sadly, a knock off) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Funky Fossil splatter stencil ("Make Your Mark 3") and Memento Bahama blue ink, applied with a makeup brush
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils in neutral and shades of orange, to colour

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Perfectly CAS - challenge No. 12 - SPLASH
  2. Addicted to Stamps & More - challenge No. 399 - ANY OCCASION

  4. Fab 'n Funky - challenge No. 511 - BIRTHDAY
  5. CAS on Friday - challenge No. 199 - COLOUR CHALLENGE

Hubby recently celebrated a birthday and I took some pix, decided to scrapbook some of them. We took delivery of a fab afternoon tea (as part of his gift) so that had to feature, one of his birthday cards even had a plane themed stamp (also HAD to feature) ...... you just gotta get creative when the birthday occurs in lockdown! I'd like to THINK he had a good time and I'm pretty sure we'll remember it too!

Materials used:
  • One piece of 300gsm designer paper
  • Snippets of leftover card in turquoise, red, grey, cerise mirri and orange
  • Photos printed from my computer
  • One used postage stamp (plane themed for a plane enthusiast)
  • Clarity Stamps word chain #2 and plane from Rubber Stamps of America stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Tsukineko white gelly roll gel pen used to highlight the text
  • Faux rivets in each corner

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Love to Craft Challenge Blog - Feb challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Scrapping4Fun - challenge No. 186 - ANYTHING GOES

I LOVE what you've made with the chess pieces.

That's a fantastic CAS birthday card too.

And, wow, your scrapbook page is super colourful and quite brilliant. You have been enjoying your time at the ToC.

I'm glad you've been enjoying crafting away Kathy! Love the ATCs - what a gorgeous image that is. The CAS card is pretty in those colours. I do like that image too - the lady seems so exuberant so it's fitting that she should decide to dance about in the puddles! An afternoon tea sounds like a lovely idea for a birthday. Hope you both had a lovely time. Vicky x

Belated Happy Birthday to your Husband, your tea looks like a wonderful celebration. It might seem like a shame that the stamps were a knockoff, they are still lovely and your card delightful. x

Birthdays during confinement are not the best ones but they are for sure one of those that we will remember ! At least he had a really gorgeous gift with your scrapbook page to recall this moment. This is also good to see that you had fun doing all these cards, it's good for mojo and to keep sane ! Thanks so much for sharing these beauties and for playing along at ATSM.

Great card! No lack of detail here which is hard with a black and white card, but you succeeded! Thanks for sharing with us a Polkadoodles this week.

So sorry you ended up with a knock-off. Darn scammers! I love your splash card. What a clever idea for the "splash". Beautiful job of adding color to your stamped image. Thanks for joining us at Perfectly CAS.
