Morning readers,
No, really, how ARE you all doing? We seem to have been in this lockdown forever and I'm wondering how you are dealing with it. I so miss being able to see people, make arrangements to meet friends for coffee, dinner or just a chat .... or even just to pop in to someone's home! I've used the time to catch up on a lot of things I'd put off, like photographing my stash (for inventory as well as for home security purposes) and also took the opportunity to reorganise my stamps/inks/stencils! In itself a pretty mammoth task, hence me putting it off for so long! How are you filling your time? I guess, if you have school age children, I probably know the answer to that question though!
I've a make to share with you today ....... I considered water colouring the vase and/or adding glossy accents to the vase but figured (since it's ONE LAYER WEEK) that this might result in some buckling of the card, from the inside and decided against it ..... rightly or wrongly!

Great job as always. Have a nice day Ankie
Very nice, congrats on being the first on the Less is More challenge, I had top think about it a bit, like if I colour tit will seep through or use a stamp I've used many times before..it was harder than neccessary lol. your card is fab, love the pop of pink
Two more lovely cards.
Love the OLC . . . perfect.
Fab masculine card too.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Love your choice of silhouette flowers and the gentle ue of stencilled ink around it. A great one layer CAS. Just a thought - if you want gloss without buckling you could try colouring the area in with clear embossing ink and use clear gloss embossing powder instead?
Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More.

Lovely birthday card Kathy. Thanks for joining us at Fab'n'Funky. Pat K xx
I love the soft and dreamy quality of the silhouette PB Flower and vase stamp and love the bit of floral stencilling in the background in that pretty peachy colours, and then the masculine card with the quite blueprint like look to the chess piece and some more wonderful background stencilling, and I think the red splatters look great adding that pop of brightness Kathy. I am just hoping we will be able to do something sociable soon, especially now the rate of infection has dropped tremendously and so many in the older age groups have had their jabs. Hubby and I have both had our first now, so onwards and upwards I hope. x
Cute cards. Thank you for entering our Anything Goes Challenge at Through The Craft Room Door this week. Looking forward to see you again next challenge.

Fab card for the LIM one layer Kathy !
Both cards are awesome. Great CAS design and so glad you shared over at Cardz 4 Guyz. I too miss being able to see people in person. To get that hug and just being with someone. I miss my kids so much. I have a friend and she does zoom get togethers. We make cards, play virtual bingo, talk and catch up but it's not the same as in person. But safety is the most important thing and so until this virus is gone it is what it is. I've taken up painting and have my hubby and 4 little four legged babes to talk chat and get hugs. Be safe. Stay strong.
Your masculine card turned out very nice, great job with the stenciling! Thank you for joining us at Cardz 4 Guys!
