Morning readers,
How's your week coming along? Yesterday, hubby got his Covid shot, just gotta wait to be called for my own but ... it's like seeing a little light at the end of the VERY long tunnel, who would have thought, this time last year, what the next twelve months would be like! I soooo miss meeting up with friends, sharing food, laughs and the like ... maybe someday soon.
I've a make to share with you today ....... sadly, I think (as crafters) we've all had to make too many of these in the past year. The upside of this project is that the image and sentiment are both from a brand new stamp set from Clearly Besotted so ... NBUS!

That's a nice sympathy card.
Love the masculine ATC too.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
I agree that sympathy cards are hard to make. Kathy but I reckon you hit just the right spot with this lovely card. I love the simple design and elegant framing, and of course your attention to detail with the inside of the card and envelope.
Yes, 12 months ago we were in blissful ignorance of what was to come and I just hope that we have passed the worst point now and things get better. Hope you don't have to wait too long for your vaccine!
Hugs

Beautiful sympathy card, it is a sign of the passing years that we need to have these to hand now. Certainly the last 12 months have reminded us that we are all visitors here, not permanent residents! The last year has also had benefits we seem to be more patient and tolerant, are probably more confident on line, discovered we can meet our friends in groups on things like "Zoom". And think of all that extra time we have had to craft! x
This pretty softly coloured lily image is perfect for a sympathy card Kathy, and the chess piece looks great on the ATC and love the stencilled kraft background and more of the same stencilling plus 'checkmate' on the white layer with that super chess piece image and a wonderful silver doodled edge too. x
a beautiful card for a sad occasion and what a lovely ATC you created, thanks for joining us at Crafty Catz challenge

Hope you get your call for your vaccination soon. We've both had our first round this week, I wasn't expecting to get mine as I've yet to tip the 65, unlike the OH. It all went relatively smoothly, no hanging around. :)
