It's Wednesday, half way through the week ... is it me? Or is it just racing by?

Morning readers,

How's your week coming along? How are you coping with lockdown and the chilly weather ... if it makes you feel any better (in the UK) we've been warmer than FLORIDA on some days!! So you KNOW they've been feeling cold! We've found ourselves heading out for our daily constitutional rather later than we're used to ... giving the air temperature a chance to warm up and the frost a chance to thaw underfoot ... walking's all very well but I've no wish to break anything whilst doing it!

I've a make to share with you today ....... a sweet little ATC featuring my Stampers Anonymous doggy, dreaming of his favourite things - food and toys, same as most REAL dogs!
My Artist Trading Card
And my matting layer

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of leftover card in Amethyst metallic (from a DCWV stack) and white
  • On the matting layer I stamped the Uniko "wonky stripes background" image using Brilliance moonlight white ink and on the white snippet using Memento sweet plum ink
  • Using a makeup brush and the Memento sweet plum ink I applied a light application over the entire white snippet
  • Using a makeup brush and the Memory Box grid stencil (88517) I applied Memento rosebud ink around the outer edge of the white snippet
  • Stampers Anonymous dog image (from CMS272) stamped on to another snippet of white card using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and set aside to thoroughly dry before colouring using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
  • Once the dog was coloured I fussy cut him out and ran him through my Xyron sticker maker, to apply adhesive evenly over the entire surface - he JUST fit!
  • Stamplorations sentiment (from "Noteworthy") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Using Memento sweet plum ink I randomly stamped my little doggies dream items (the bone and ball, both from CMS272) around the ATC before adhering my dog to the ATC

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. A Place to Start - challenge No. 1 - ANYTHING GOES + (optional) INLAID DIES
  2. Pammie's Inky Pinkies - challenge No. 2101 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Crafting Happiness - challenge No. 78 - ANIMALS
  4. Through The Craft Room Door - January 5th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Lemon Shortbread - challenge No. 136 - ANYTHING GOES
And now for a card, it's not a Christmas card either, seems like an age since I made a non Christmas card ..

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
And a closer view of the three greens

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of deep green textured card (from a DCWV stack) cut to mat
  • Using my Tim Holtz mini stencil and a makeup brush I applied three shades of green ink, as desired, Adirondack lettuce and bottle and Memento bamboo leaves
  • Unknown manufacturer's background image (turned out to have been a knock off of a Carabelle set, sorry Carabelle) stamped using Versafin Clair morning mist ink
  • TCP sentiment (from S.5845.CL) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

Both of your creations are so fun! I love the background you made for the fun dog and of course the sponged background for your "feel better" collage card.
