Junk Christmas Gift Tag

Today I made a gift tag out of an ice package. This is the first time I make something like a junk project.
At first I die cut a tag from the package and one piece from a patterned paper (a leftover) with the same die. I glued the two pieces together and made the hole through both layers.

Spellbinders dies: Tag and Poinsettia.
Gold glitter for the flower.

Back side:

I got five tags from this ice package:

The four remaining tags are going to be decorated later on.

  1. Clever idea! I should recycle more. Especially for gift tags since they are rarely saved.

  2. Fantastiske tags!

  3. Great idea for J Liv. It is so good to recycle cardboard to make tags rather than have it thrown out. I like this tag and look forward to seeing what you do with the others that you have cut out.

  4. Good on you Liv!!! Upcycling is the way to go these days... reuse and recycle as much as you can, every little bit helps our world.
The tag you created is fabulous, I love the way you've attached the ribbon with an extra piece of twine. The hand-drawn border is fabulous and the pattern paper is lovely and festive. Well done!
    Cheers,
