Monday, that can only mean one thing - it's the start of another week!

Morning readers,

I've a make to share with you today ....... I've voluntarily made the cards below as One Layer Cards! I so often forget to make them One Layer, even when the challenge requires it!

The card design
A small batch of just two cards
The fronts, backs and insides of my cards along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • Two Kraft 4" x 4" 300gsm cards and matching sized envelopes
  • Two pieces of Kraft card cut to fit, for the inserts
  • Funky Fossil image (from "Silly Snowmen") stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • StudioLight sentiment (from SL470) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils and Copic Atyou Spica glitter pens used to colour the image
  • Unicorn stickles to bling up the card front

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Merry Little Christmas - challenge No. 27 - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  2. The Holly and Ivy - challenge No. 81 - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  3. Crafty  Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 512 - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  4. Colour Crazy - challenge No. 41 - ANYTHING (hand coloured) GOES
  5. Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday challenge - MAKE AN ENVELOPE TO MATCH THE CARD
And now ... another batch (of 2) Christmas cards ..... I used a sketch and (rather unusually for me) even used a VERY similar image ... since I have not one but two similar stamps - neither of which has seen ink in a while!!! Given the small scale of my card (just 4" x 4") I had to take a little poetic license with the placement of the sentiment and hope I will be forgiven!

My card design
My little two card batch!
The front, back and inside of my cards along with the front and back of my envelopes

Materials used:
  • 4" x 4", 300gsm Kraft card and matching sized envelopes
  • Kraft card cut to fit - for card front and insert
  • Navy card, cut to mat
  • Using an anti static mat on the card front panel .. I then stamped the Craft Stamper free image using Versamark embossing powder before sprinkling with Stampendous white embossing powder and heat setting .... elsewhere on the card and envelope I stamped the star image using Memento Bahama blue ink
  • Inkadinkado sentiment stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink
  • Wink of Stella clear and gold glitter gel pens used to accentuate the stars in the sentiment

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. CAS(e) this Sketch - challenge No. 394 - SKETCH - see below
  2. Alphabet Challenge - October 9th challenge - "N" is for NAVY AS THE PREDOMINANT COLOUR (navy border and navy sentiment)
  3. Crafty Friends - challenge No. 147 - EMBOSSING (wet or dry)
  4. Corrosive Challenge - challenge No. 10 - ANYTHING GOES
  5. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 144 - ANYTHING GOES

The fun FF snowman image looks great on the first two OLCs Kathy with the lovely red and white coloured hat and scarf and love the Studiolight decorated sentiment in black, and the second two cards are extremely pretty with the white embossed hanging stars and the swirly Inkadinkado sentimentwith the coordinating little stars goes perfectly. x
