I´m "sorry" I have to come up with another "other" mural, but... does it count?
Why only always walls?
This reminded me of a very beautiful place we´ve been in 1999...
Where there is a man, what is missing? Yep, mostly...:
A fun idea to present your jewelry, no?
Oh, it reminds me of being free!
Wish I could get back our old Nissan Patrol LWB and just run away...
Taking part again in Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.

Bertiebo, yes, to fly away.... Destination:....
That's an interesting way of showing a mural, agree with you about the desert too.
Oh, if only we could travel like "back then" again!
Great colours and it certainly reminds me of a beautiful landscape.
Thanks for participating Iris.
...those sure are different.
Dearest Iris, you had me laughing again!!! Especially that part when you said "a fun way to present jewelry" it does look fun and very artistic but without you mentioning, I wouldn't even notice THE jewelry because of the colorful murals on the mannequins hahaha
Thank you so much dearest Iris for sharing your shoe emergency on Timeless Thursdays. brought me back to my own shoe emergency too! Left a comment ;)
Great concept for marketing.
I like that! It sure catches your attention!
Sami, yes, if we could only take off, dear host!

Tom, yup, cool, huh.

Dearest Stevenson! I thought you refer to the other mannequins a few posts back, LOL, but yes!
Not such a smart concept here after all huh!
What happened with your shoes, are we bad-luck-shoe-companions? 🤣
___
magiceye, well after what Stevenson said... maybe not so much?
____
Jeanie, it did for sure!
Oh my gosh it was so bad. It happened on holy week like 12 years ago I think? Our family is catholic so we have a tradition of Visita Iglesia wherein we visit 14 churches and pray and reflect on the fourteen stations of the cross. we joined a tour group that year and while I was walking on a church garden on a far city 2 hours away from home, I felt like why are my feet feeling sore too much like I'm walking on gravel. Looks down on feet, the sole of shoes gone, feet is just wearing socks over real gravel. Looked back and saw some people laughing because somebody left a rubber sole. OMG Iris it was a bit embarrassing and also crazy because where will I get some shoes. But yes, I still remember my dad taking me to the market on that city and we got me some slippers HAHAHAHA I remember my mom screaming with laughter when we got home because it was her fault for asking me to wear my grandfather's leather shoes! imagine how long that hasn't been worn, my Grandpa has been dead for 20 years now HAHA
When you wrote Darwin, I thought of Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest or evolution. Then, I realized you meant Darwin, that city in Australia. Lol.
Your idea that murals don’t have to be painted on a wall is really a good one. Lots of people are posting photos of murals on utility boxes (as I did yesterday), and also on some other surfaces — but your find is the very best!
be safe... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Stevenson! You must be my secret twin! Haha, LOL!
In Perth I wore some old flip-flops and felt every small stone. The sole was thin like a piece of paper...
My Mum taught me to not be "childish" so I kept going till we were in the cabin! Luckily I had another old pair and bought a new one with those.
____
gigi, both come to mind, LOL, I had the yummiest spinach-pies there and we always bought two, leaving one in the front of the car for the evening.
Could´ve killed us! We did that every day....
____
Mae, thank you, the world is changing all the time, huh, and so are we!
Oh dearest Iris I looooove flip flops! Since the pandemic, I never wore shoes since I'm just at home most of the time, my flipflops guard my feet for 7 months now haha. And yas our feet are twins hahaha
Oh Iris! I started a new blog just as a record for my postcard collection. I thought I'd file the pictures on a drive but thought hey, why not share it with those who'd like to see them so I started yesterday and now have posted about 50 postcards, the one you sent me was there too :) You can check it out in case you wanna see it :)
I posted them based on the date they were sent so you can see some posts dated way back 2012 :) but of course, yours is the latest one :) and the only postcard I received since this Corrina Year haha https://stevespostbox.blogspot.com/
Oh, dearest Stevenson! I´m packing flip-flops away for winter now.
At least I have zimties for the cold days as well, a sole, haha! - to put into the shoes. Hmmmm, soooo good and yummy!
Lille Corinna must´ve been happy to bring you the apple-tea :-)
Finally (oh, sorry, earworm-alarm)!
The painted desert is quite a sight.
Body murals, that's unique. Different is good, I like it!
I never thought of painting on clothing dummy. There a bear statue at a library with some cool paints.
I met an artist once who painted murals over shop mannequins, some of them were very impressive.
