Morning readers,
Welcome to June .... will June look much different to May for us all? Let's hope so, but in a good way. There's talk of the re-opening of non essential stores - Woo Hoo!! I imagine the queues will be long so I've no particular wish to join them ..... thanks, I'll wait until the initial excitement has worn off. I am, however, looking forward to being able to see some of our friends (socially distanced and not all at once)
As it happens, I SHOULD have been away this past weekend, crafting with some friends however, with Covid-19 still in the picture, this has been postponed. I had bought a set of stamps for each of the attendees and (once we knew we weren't going) I mailed a set to each of them - for some "virtual" group crafting over this weekend.
Here's the first of my makes to share with you today ....

My Artist Trading Card |
- ATC blank (made from 300gsm snippet of white card 2½" x 3½")
- Snippets of leftover card in Paper Mill intense red and 300gsm white
- On the white snippet I stamped my sentiment (Hampton Arts diffusions - D2193) using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
- Taking the border image (from eBay - reference number ZAOOXIW017-26 ... catchy huh?) stamped using Memento grey flannel
- From the crafting weekend set (eBay reference number 222647) I stamped the "swipe" using Memento ladybug and the squares using Memento canteloupe

Here's the stash used for my ATC |

This is the set I duplicated, one for each of us |
- PaperBabe - challenge No. 120 - QUOTES
- Creative Fingers - challenge No. 187 - ANYTHING GOES
- Simon Says Stamp - challenge No. 73 - ANYTHING GOES
- Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No. 379 - USE SNIPPETS
And, whilst I was in ATC mode and had those stamps out ...... here's a second project using the stamp set I've duplicated with friends - I must be honest I couldn't wait to see what they had come up with too.

And a closer view of the detail |
- ATC blank
- Snippets (leftovers) in water colour card and Paper Mill intense red
- Using a non stick teflon sheet I applied Distress Oxides in antique linen and candied apple, applying to my water colour card using a mini blender and foam pad. I then spritzed with water before letting the water spread the colour till I was happy with the effect - I then set it aside to dry
- Using my mixed media background stamps (222647) I stamped using Memento ladybug and Versafine Clair morning mist inks
- CarzTV sentiment ("Just Saying") stamped using Versfine Clair nocturne ink
- Once this was all dry I used a quickie glue pen to trace some "accent" detailing and set aside to dry (over lunch, as it happens!) before applying gold foil over and burnishing it before removing the foil - it gives a nice bit of interest/texture
I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
- CardzTV - challenge No. 115 - ANYTHING GOES
- Southern Girls - May 28th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
- Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 391 - ANYTHING GOES
- Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 132 - ANYTHING GOES

I found a pack of bright orange cards and envelopes with just three left - seemed like a good idea to get them out and make a conscious effort to use them .....

Wonderful creations as always. Love the idea of your virtual crafting
Great ATC's and love the bright red on both and the bit of foiling on the second, and a great mix of stamps for you and your crafting friends to use, and also the bright orange card on which to place your five different mixed media stripes, a very pretty look Kathy. x
Brilliant sentiment and background on the first ATC.
Great grunginess on the second ATC and another lovely sentiment.
Perfect card for the FMS sketch too. Cool and CAS!
Hot enough for you? Am sweltering!

Lovely projects. What a great idea to have a virtual crafting session. I'm holding off on going to shops too as I have no desire to stand in queues either! Thank you for joining in the Anything Goes Challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.

Fabulous creations and thanks for sharing at crafty catz this week.
These are very cool! I love the "grunge" feel to the stamps, and by extension, your ATCs and card! A lot of great images in the set you used. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
What great ATCs theses are Kathy - especially your snippets entry. What a great set of stamps - and I love the sentiment!
Hugs
