Another Birthday Card

Hello!  I like the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches so much that I had to make another card using the sketch but this time I used a die cut and pattern paper in creating the design.  I started with a panel of ivory textured cardstock that I trimmed with scalloped decorative scissors. Edged this with Blue Lagoon  CS strip cut with the same scissors.  ( It's been forever since I used one of the many decorative scissors that I have. Do you use them?) I added a Green Flourish cut with Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourish die and attached fancy cut flowers from the patterned paper (MME Collectible Pad) that I used on the right side of the card.  Stamped and heat embossed  a GKD birthday sentiment on a strip of Vellum and framed with a rectangle of the same CS. Adhered this to the card and attached all on a card base of the GKD Blue Lagoon.  Another card for my Birthday Stash.

  3. So beautiful. Wonderful use of dies and pattern paper. I love how the flowers from the paper can be cut out and used in that way with the die too!

  6. I probably still have a couple of decorative scissors! I don't use them but I'm sure they are around here somewhere. This second card is absolutely stunning! Great job. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
