Welcome to my studio! I have created 2 cards for the Twofer Card Challenge which is Hearts. I used the same small hearts stamps from GKD You Have My Heart set. I also used the same Scalloped Heart dies from Spellbinders but that just happened by chance. The Musical Valentine card shown on the left features partial die cutting and guitar and sentiment stamps from the same set as the hearts. I doodled some dots around the white heart. Used Memento Lady Bug ink and Red and White CS.
The Birthday card uses the same heart stamps hanging from a GKD branch stamp that I modified to be a tree. The word stamps are from Winnie & Walter set. Used Memento Lady Bug, Bamboo Leaves, and Rich Cocoa inks with White and Fresh Asparagus CS. Embossed white layer with Cuttlebug Wicker Weave EF. I was going to make the theme of this card All Things Grow with Love but that did not work out.

Twofer Card Challenge: Challenge #23 Two different designs for two different occasions using the same stamps, stencils, and/or dies. Theme is Hearts.
Happy Little Stampers: January Anything Goes with Dies.
Dies R Us Challenge: #136 Anything Goes using any brand of metal die that DRU sells.
CAS Mix Up Card Challenge: Partial Die-cutting + Stamping + Your Choice. Did some doodling with Alcohol Marker.

ReplyDeleteBoth die-cut heart cards are so pretty, Theresa! Combining the heart and the guitar using the partial die-cutting technique is unique and wonderful. Adding the dots to the white heart is a really nice touch. Thanks so much for sharing the Musical Valentine card with us at CAS Mix Up!
