Saturday - how was your Christmas?

Morning readers,

Hope you all had a splendid Christmas - you have a few days to recover before the New Year festivities kick in! GOOD LUCK and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all. STEP AWAY from those mince pies and chocolates (you can thank me later)!!!

I've a make to share with you today .... an Artist Trading Card using another image that doesn't get inked often enough ........

My ATC
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in DCWV textured red and white
  • On the white card I stamped the Crafty Individuals hare (CI-372), MFT stars image (from SY01 "Sweet Holiday Penguins") and Stamplorations sentiment (Noteworthy) using Versafine Claire nocturne ink
  • Using a makeup brush I applied Distress Ink in Victorian velvet tot he white space surrounding the hair and then, with Tim Holtz mini stencil (from set #24) I went over it again, adding more of the Victorian velvet ink.
  • Crayola coloured pencils used to colour the hair
  • Kaisercraft glitter gel pens
  • Stardust stickles to bling up the stars , sentiment and hare

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Penny's Paper Crafty - challenge No. 461 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Cute Card Thursday - challenge No. 614 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Southern Girls - December 15th challenge - ANYTHING GOES
  4. Happy Little Stampers - December ATC challenge - BLING
  5. QKR Stampede - challenge No. 378 - ANYTHING GOES

And, since it's Christmas and I have new Christmas stash, what else would I be doing but making Christmas cards? I made a batch of three of these ...... yes, for 2020!! I'm on a roll now and shan't have too many to make when November rolls around!

I'm going to need a little longer with the chocolates! Not because it's a good idea, but because I am a chocolate addict and Christmas is such a great excuse! Love your sweet hare and the fact that the swirls on his body tie in with the swirls on your background. Such a great sentiment too! Thanks for sharing this with us at Penny's!
