TGIF and a festive weekend on its way!

Morning readers

I'd like to start my post by welcoming new follower Patricia Gomez, nice to meet you, hope you will stop by again sometime.

I've a make to share with you today .... apparently, I just can't stop myself from making Christmas cards! What can I say - I do LOVE a Christmas card! This uses a lovely set of snowflakes from HLS and a very elderly wood mounted stamp from Hero Arts.

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White 5" square, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of navy card, cut to mat
  • Snippets of card in white and navy
  • Hero Arts scribble tree image (D2020), stamped using Versafine Clair
  • Happy Little Stampers snowflakes (from "Let it snow") stamped using Versafine Clair twilight and Memento Bahama blue inks
  • Paper Artsy sentiment (from JOFY17) stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink

So, I was FINALLY able to break the spell and hit the Table of Craftiness and produce something OTHER than a Christmas card!

Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in navy and white
  • Inks used: Memento tuxedo black, Paris dusk and London fog. Versafine Clair nocturne and twilight
  • Stamps used: Penny Black 3017-F "Joy Joy", "Giving and Receiving, Creative Expressions CEC851 "Inspiring Edges"
  • Stardust stickles

And the gamut of Christmas lunches/dinners has started! Another one just yesterday, with my two oldest friends. We met at the home of the pal nearest to our lunch destination, for coffee and mince pies (so glad I declined the pie and that was BEFORE I knew about the portion sizes!), full on Christmas lunch followed by pudding (I couldn't get the toffee meringue in a doggy bag!)

OH MY!
Back to our pals house for Secret Santa gift exchange - Merry Christmas ladies, and thanks for your company!

Two beautiful makes Kathy with the pretty snowflakes and then the ATC with super stars and chevron, and both in really lovely colours. The turkey lunch looks yum, and toffee meringue would be my choice too. x

Love your Christmas crd Kathy. And also the snippets ATC. However do you manage to add so much lovely detail to an ATC - yet it still looks uncluttered. Clever stuff!

And that Christmas lunch plate looks so yummy!

Hugs - and Merry Christmas -

Di xx
