WOW, that sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. Mom has been to Norway several times but never to Alta. So many beautiful things to see in that country.
ReplyDeleteDouble wow. I would love to visit Norway and I would love to see the Northern Lights.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
I like the photo at night wear the lights are on display....not sure I would get use to their summer months when daylight is around for longer periods of time... ! :) ♥♥☺☺
ReplyDeleteYes, it is strange to see the sun above the skyline and not getting darker than dusk.We were there a few years ago during the summer solstice. On the other hand, during the winter months it doesn't get lighter than a gloomy dusk either. Of course the reflection from the snow must help to brighten it to a certain extent, but no sun or daylight that far north. Our Sami guide said having lived there for hundreds of years that it doesn't affect them, but a lot of non native people suffer badly with depression through the winter.
DeleteFirst time I have ever seen this ...brilliant :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a prettytastic week :-)
I have never been anywhere near the arctic. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to see the Northern Lights and also the midnight sun (which obviously I can't do on the same trip). I did read some of your link. Maybe one day....
ReplyDeleteThat is a great photo. XO
ReplyDeleteWOW! A visit to Norway is high up on my bucket list. Love the photo.
