HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACROSS THE MILES

Good morning.  Today, I have a card I made a little while ago for a special friend from Across The Miles.
I had seen that someone else had made a very similar card, and I can't remember who it was to give them credit for their work.
This design with the pleats was something quite different.
As you can see, the pleats are at the bottom.  It reminds me of my school gym dress many years ago with box pleating.

Here's a quick look at the inside of the card.

Challenges I'm Entering:
I love the colours and the pattern on the bottom design paper.  The top paper is nondescript, it doesn't taking away the look of the lovely floral paper.

Card Recipe:
1. Base: White French Linen card stock.
2. Coloured card: Kaisercraft Wine, Bloom and Silver Mirror card.
3. Design Papers: Pale Garden by Crafters Choice
4. Embellishments: Silver ribbon from my stash, flower from two dies, gems from my stash.

5. Dies Used: Star Flowers,  With Love Die, Happy Birthday and Handmade with Love.
6. Tools Used:
7. Inside & the back of the card:
I wish you all a wonderful weekend and happy crafting.

TULIPS & BUGS

Good morning, and welcome to my blog.  Today is another Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Challenge, and we have two new sketches and one retro sketch.

Today, I'm showcasing
Sketch #301
This is another very easy sketch, and it's a good way to use up some of those scrap design papers and card stock we all have.
If you want to see the other sketch, I'll showcase it around the 16th of April, when last month's winners are announced.  Other wise drop over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, and see what the design team have created.  You'll see Sketch # 300 as well as the retro sketch a blast from the past that Kelly decided to use.

A quick look at the inside of my card.

As I said, it's an easy sketch and it's a way to use up your scraps.
