Wednesday - don't worry, it'll soon be the weekend!

Morning readers,

Saying "HI" to my latest follower Sandra - I'm sorry, I couldn't find a link to a personal blog to add here, but I hope you will stop by again soon

If you've read my last couple of posts you will see that I have been deploying the Visible Image INKognito flower image, including the smaller scale Craft Stamper freebie. Saturday used the full size version and Monday the freebie which was smaller - today's make sees both images deployed. You could say this is the third in a series of three. I also very much liked the pink and grey colour scheme but have veered away from my usual CAS (Clean And Simple) style with this one - I think it works and I hope you agree. This series of three cards gave me a chance to ink up some fab stamps that don't see ink anywhere near often enough!

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of 300gsm white card cut to fit
  • One piece of 300gsm hot pink card, cut to mat
  • Visible Image stem (from INKognito flower) stamped using Memento grey flannel ink
  • Visible Image flower (from INKognito flower) stamped using Memento rosebud ink
  • Visible Image smaller flower (Craft Stamper free image) stamped using Memento London fog ink
  • TCP sentiment (from S-5845-CL) stamped using Versafine Clair nocturne ink
  • Diamond stickles used to highlight focal flower and stem

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Inkspirational - September challenge - CROP - 2nd entry
  2. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 114 - ANYTHING GOES
  3. Dragonfly Dreams - September challenge - HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  4. Stamping Sensations - September challenge - ANYTHING GOES WITH FLOWERS
  5. Global Design Project - challenge No. 207 - BLOOM AND GROW

I'm delighted to find I was picked, by Nancy, as "an honorable mention" over at CASology, thanks so much

It's a fag INKognito flower card. Great image and I like the way it's been stamped in the two different sizes and colours.

Congrats on your honourable mention too.

Happy Wednesday! xxx

The grey and pink looks really pretty using the larger and smaller of these two VI flowers Kathy, I wish I had bought that magazine as using the two together is a definite plus as the overall look is amazing. Congratulations too on your shout out over at Casology with that cute duck. x
