Morning readers,
I trust you all enjoyed your weekend? It was surrogate grandsons birthday recently so there was a birthday party to attend at the weekend - such a shame the weather was so changeable, it was looking like an indoor event but, in the end, it turned out to be a pleasant afternoon and evening weather wise. The party? Well, that was a success too, and surrogate grandson is now officially SEVEN!
Anyhoo, with the weather alternating between hot/sticky and cold/miserable I have to say that my thoughts turned to CHRISTMAS CARDS ...... plus I still have quite a few to make!

And a closer view which shows off the super twinkle of the glamour dust - it's been TOO LONG since I've used real glitter - stickles are brilliant but .... you can't beat glamour dust |
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
Materials used:
- White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of white card cut to fit
- One piece of turquoise car, cut to mat

- Sparkle 'n Sprinkle image (from set #823) stamped using Memento tuxedo black
- Sparkle 'n Sprinkle sentiment (from set #823) stamped using Versafine Clair morning mist ink
- Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour

This is such a fun image Kathy and the glamour dust has really made it sparkle, and the lines and banner sentiment look great too, and a wonderful take on the sketch. I'm glad you managed to celebrate the surrogate grandson's 7th birthday without any bad weather. We went out to visit one of the Open Gard Scheme gardens on Sunday and hadn't been there long when the rain fell down so we gave up and came home, and then within half an hour the sun was shining and no more rain. Typical summer weather...lol. x
This made me giggle - love the glitter and the sentiment is just fab!
