Hi there readers,
Well, here we are .. at another Bank Holiday weekend. I know the weather's been glorious much of the week but hey .... BANK HOLIDAY people so, is it raining yet? It' looking pretty nice here right now but then, the BBQ's still in the shed, wait till we think about getting it out!
Managed a little time at the Table of Craftiness, a pal asked for a couple of masculine cards so, armed with my washi tape - here's one I made earlier!

My card |
The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope
Materials used:
- White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
- Two pieces of white card cut to fit
- One piece of grey card, cut to mat
- One piece of scrap card (cut to size) and a rectangle die cut from the piece, to use as a mask
- With the mask taped in place I applied Distress Ink in hickory smoke, to give an even coating
- Using two Tim Holtz stencils (THS006 "dot fade" and THS013 "clockwork") I applied the hickory smoke ink through both, obtaining a nice (IMHO) mottled layering look
- Kaisercraft "crackle" image stamped using Ranger Archival grey shadow ink
- Kelly Creates large sentiment (348273) stamped using Versafine onyx black ink
- A quick spritz of Krylon fixative (having first placed the mask back over my inked panel)
- Scribbles "night star" (black) 3D glitter glue used to trace over the large sentiment - to add both highlight and texture
- Patties Creations - challenge No. 158 - BIRTHDAY
- Just Add Ink - challenge No. 458 - Q, X, Y, Z ...... I went with "Y" with my happY birthdaY
- CardzTV - challenge No. 90 - ANYTHING GOES

Another couple of fantastic cards Kathy, and love the plane with the washi tape behind the image which looks great, and the masked off area with added stamping and stencilling works well with the large sparkly sentiment. x
