The distinction between graffiti (or tagging) and murals becomes more and more unclear, and I don't think it really helps to label a work of art as one or the other. The only thing that I think is important is when taggers really deface buildings or other people's murals. This was on a blank space so it seems relatively reasonable. It's imaginative, too.
William, yes, back in my days there were nos such parks!
Dora, oh, yes, I had a red cheapy skateboard, if you were too fast (as we always were) the whole thing spun! Fun times! Dangerous, I´d never do that again ;-)

Thanks Iris, I've seen a few murals around skate parks too.
There is so much more to come, Sami, it´s Leederville, right...
Our skate park is covered in scribbles. I think the kids like it though.
We call it graffiti and I´m not a fan...
...skateboarding and tagging seem to go together.
Aw, I think it does count as a mural. You´ll see more art next Monday, Leederville is mural-haven...
When I was young I skateboarded only.
Grafitti has evolved as a fine art now! There are 'street art' walking tours.
Hm, I´d still call this a mural - or a mixture of both?

Oh well spotted Iris. I haven't seen that one ✨
Mae, yes, though grafitti is more like letters over here. And you are right, many destroy real murals with their "work", jealousy is a sad thing!
Grace, it was right at the entrance in front of the youth club, if the always lost one remembers right ;-)
That's to be expected at skate park areas.
Never tried anything to fancy with skate board.
Coffee is on

Very interesting, Iris. Not a lot of color but a message!
Sometimes it´s the simple things, right?
Our local skate-park has murals too, they can brighten the place up.
All the best Jan
Yes, don´t they :-)
