This month at
we've got a colour challenge for you. Here's the inspirational image....
....so all you need is to use those colours and a Tiddly Inks image and you're all good.
This is what I did....
....as you can see I did use some extra colours that aren't in the inspirational photo. And my aqua is maybe a little too aqua. But that's just me and colour challenges. I either make crap cards or cheat. I'll let you decide which way this one went. (:
I used a page from the Everyday Fun Colouring Book, shrunk down to card size. Love these ready made scenes. It makes me want spring to come but I'm thinking that'll be a ways here yet. That's okay though, as long as we get a spring. There have been plenty of years where it's been basically winter into summer. Hate that, it's certainly not fair if it snows in late April and is still 5ºC in May. We went pretty much from fall into winter last year (in, like, October) so I'm hoping that means we'll be granted a spring. Finger crossed!
Why not grab a Tiddly Inks image, and join us for the challenge? And be sure to check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Pile It On: favourite colour - blue!
The Paper Players: spring fever
Crafty Calendar: for a child
As You Like It: Layers - one or many - Even though I do love one layer cards I just can't seem to pull them off myself. I'm a multi-layered gal. (:
No, not a crap card and no, you didn't cheat. It's an inspirational photo, right? And you were inspired by the photo. We can see that inspiration in your lovely card. And I know I repeat myself, but you truly are the Queen of Perfect Paper. Your Highness, that Singing In the Rain and Umbrella background paper just could not be any more...perfect. Bravo, Jan! Another winner!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love those colours. The subtle eggshell blues and greens are beautiful.
