Monday? Another week? Already!!!!

Morning readers,

So? The weather warms up, right? And what sort of crafting am I busy working on? Well 1) an aran wool blanket and 2) CHRISTMAS projects - anyone care to have a go at explaining the logic of those choices? ........................... I THOUGHT NOT! Check out my Wednesday post later in the week for the update on the blanket!

Anyhoo, here's a snowy little ATC ....

My Artist Trading Card

And a closer view of the colouring and embossing

Materials used:

• ATC blank
• Snippet of white card
• On the white snippet I stamped my Wild Rose Studio snowmen image (CL461) using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour the image and copic marker cool shadow for the background
• Creative Expressions snowfall background (UMS851) stamped using Versamark ink, sprinkled with WOW! White puff twinkle embossing powder and then heat set

4. Winter Wonderland - February challenge - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
5. Friendship Challenge - challenge No. 38 - SNOWFLAKES

And now for a Christmas card .....

My card

 

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• White A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of white card cut to fit
• One piece of DCWV pearlised blue card
• Snippets of card in both the white and pearlised blue which I die cut in to shape using MFT faux stitched nesting rectangle dies
• Inkadinkado reindeer image (it's called Mystical reindeer if bought singly but I've had my clear set so long I've lost the packaging) stamped using Versafine Clari nocturne ink, sprinkled with WOW! super fine clear embossing powder and then heat set (I omitted the heat embossing everywhere but the card front)
• Crafters Companion sentiment (from GEM-ST-FESTP) stamped using Versafine Clair twilight ink
• Blue glittered washi tape
• Diamond stickles to bling up the reindeer
