Krokodil? / Crocodile?

Natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten om een gebruikt stencil op een stuk aquarelpapier schoon te maken. En als het kan pak ik nog een tweede stuk aquarelpapier voor een tweede ronde met meestal weer zo'n ander resultaat... Deze achtergrond met daarop een stencil schoongemaakt voor dit project is zo'n tweede stuk papier van dit project. Na het stempelen en kleuren van de krokodil? vond ik het wat kaal, dus zocht ik tussen alle spulletjes die ik random in mijn tas had gegooid toen ik op pad ging voor weer een gezellige stempel donderdagmiddag. Deze bloemetjes en bladeren en de tekst maakte het voor mij af.

Of course I couldn't resist to clean a used stencil on a piece of aquarelpaper. And when it is possible I take a second piece of aquarelpaper for a second round with again a totally different result... This background on wich I cleaned a stencil is such a second round piece of paper from this project. After stamping the crocodile? I thought it was a bit bare, so I went through all the stuff I put in my bag that I put randomly in my bag that I took with me when I went in my way for another fun stamping Thursday afternoon. These flowers and leaves and the text finished it of for me.

CaS in het weekend 465 / CAS in the weekend 465

Er lagen nog meer stempels al vanaf Mei te wachten voor een eerste keer inkt... Deze schapen geven me een voorjaarsgevoel. En omdat het voorjaar officieel is begonnen voelde het goed om hen te gebruiken voor deze CaS-kaart. De bomen zijn door een stencil gesponst, de stempel ingekleurd en grond getekend en een tekststicker erbij gezocht.

There were more stamps wich were waiting to be inked for the first time...

These sheeps give me a springfeeling. And because Spring has officially start it felt good to use this stamp for a CaS-card. The trees are sponged through a stencil, the stamp colored and I looked for a text sticker.

Als laatste maakte ik op een van de gezellige stempel donderdagmiddagen dit project, maar ik kreeg het niet helemaal af. De achtergrond is weer een stuk aquarelpapier waarop ik het stencil schoonmaakte dat ik op het geëmbosste papier heb gebruikt. Het geëmbosste papier maakte ik met een nieuwe embossingfolder. Het was al jaren geleden dat ik er een kocht, maar deze past, vind ik overal bij...  Het meisje is gestempeld en uitgeknipt, al doe ik dat liever niet, nu ontkwam ik er niet aan. Thuis heb ik de papieren op elkaar geplakt en washitape erover verdeeld.

The last project that I made on one of the fun stamp Thursday afternoons was this project, but I ran out of time and didn't finish it. The background is again a piece of aquarelpaper on wich I cleaned the stencil that I used on the embossed  paper. The embossed paper was made with a new embossing folder. It has been years that I bought one, but this is one that fits, I think, anything...

The girl is stamped and cut out; something I rather like to avoid, but this time it couldn't be done differently. At home I glued the papers on top of eachother and added the washitape.

Ik heb nog meer gemaakt met de stempels die ik vorig jaar ergens in Mei bestelde. 

Deze keer weer met de uil van de set. Die werd gemaskerd terwijl ik heerlijk met een stencil en wat kleuren aan de gang ging...

Verjaardagskaart / Birthdaycard

Vorig jaar ergens in Mei bestelde ik deze stempels en ze bleven maar zonder inkt al die tijd. Van de week bladerde ik ze eens door en kreeg ik bij deze stempel gelijk een idee wat ik ermee wilde maken. Dus deze eruit gehaald en meteen gemaakt... Dit is het resultaat; de verjaardagskaart voor mijn vader dit jaar:

Last year somewhere in May I ordered these stamps and they were left un-inked all these times. Last weekend I flipped through them and with this one I immediately got an idea what I wanted to make with it. So I took it out and made it right away... This is the result; the Birthday card for my father for this year:

Kom erbij...

Vandaag een page met een achtergrond gemaakt door aquarelpapier op een andere bladzijde te leggen waarop ik rechtstreeks met een inktkussen de strepen inkt heb aangebracht en daarna alles goed had nat gespoten. Daarna heb ik er een ander stuk aquarelpapier op gelegd om het teveel aan inkt daarop te transporteren. Zo gebruik je het veel te veel inkt voor nog een achtergrond! De eerste bladzijde vind je in deze post en ook op deze bladzijde heb ik een eekhoorn gebruikt. Dit keer een 'layering' stempel. De bladeren en rest is gemaakt met een set stanzen. De bladzijde die ik op deze bladzijde heb gelegd vind je hier.

Today a page with a background made by placing aquarelpaper on another page on wich I applied stripes of ink directly to the paper with an inkpad and then sprayed a lot of water on that. Then I placed another piece of watercolorpaper on top to transport the excess ink to it. This way you use the ink that is too much on your first page to make a second background. You find the first page in this post and I used a squirrel again. This time a 'layering' stamp. The leaves and the rest are made with a set of dies. CaS in het weekend 464 / CAS in the weekend 464

Een die ik al eerder maakte op een van de gezellige donderdagmiddagen, want ik mocht de stempel van het meisje van Josje lenen. Met behulp van een cirkelstencil en een zwarte fijnschrijver heb ik na het stempelen van dat meisje een aantal cirkels getekend en daarna de wolken getekend en haar ingekleurd. Als laatste de tekst gestempeld.

One that I made earlier on one of the fun Thursday afternoons, because I could borrow the stamp of the reading girl from Josje. I draw a few circles with a black gelpen after stamping her and draw the clouds and colored her. Lastly I stamped the text.
