Counting Our Blessings Linkup

Count your blessings one by one.... Yes, it's that time again! Won't you join me?

How was your Valentine Day? I know it's not always the hearts and flowers day for everyone. It can actually be hard. However, I hope you know how much you are loved by God and you will always be His Valentine!

I showed you the little bag that I made on my Sizzex machine last week and I filled it with chocolate covered peanuts and gave it to my hubby.  He loved it!

It was a fairly simple gift but it was from the heart and I'm so glad my hubby liked it.

The night before Valentines Day, my son brought over gifts for us and they were so perfect!

He gave us this basket with Sparkling Cider, Kisses, and hot drink packets.

He also gave us these wonderful muffins that his girlfriend made and they are so wonderful! I love how she packaged them! Plus, they are super delicious!

Then he gave me a gift that is so ME!

Isn't this absolutely perfect? I adore it! He said it was for our deck but I told him that it was going straight to my family room.

I love the little bird that is sitting on top. Actually, I love everything about it and was so touched by this precious gift.

He also gave us a beautiful door mat that matches my hummingbird set for my deck. I wasn't able to get a picture but, trust me, it's beautiful and will be so perfect on the deck!

Remember my big journaling Bible I got for my birthday? I haven't done anything in it before now for two reasons. One, I was nervous to make that first mark in it and, second, I needed a larger table for working in it.

This weekend, my son helped me to move things around in my craft room to make it more efficient and easier to work in.  I also decided to change out my table that I do my paper crafting on. It was a kitchen table and was square and not very practical for really spreading my things out to work on. I got a new 4 foot long table at WalMart and it's perfect! It actually gave me more room in my craft room plus a more practical surface to work on.

So here's my first page in my Bible. It's really simple but I'm pleased with it. I'll probably add other elements to the page but it helped me to just start and now I'll feel more comfortable about doing more in it.

I really like how much area there is to decorate my Bible. I don't cover the words in my Bibles when I do my artwork as I want to be able to read my Bible.  That's the point, right? I know that other's do artwork over the words but this isn't something I personally feel good about so having the extra space to be artistic with, is perfect for me.

It's been a week full of blessings for me and I do hope it was for you, too!
